A Message from Monique...

Growing up, I struggled in my adolescence with identifying my unique gifts and having the confidence to explore them. Thankfully, there was a village of angels that poured into me and relentlessly pushed me to aspire. Most would applaud my accomplishments at face value, but very few --my journal and God-- fully understand the depth of the pain that filled my heart all the while. From body dysmorphia to drug misuse and relational abuse, my journey was no crystal stair as Langston Hughes would say. My testimony is an opportunity for someone to get healing, gain wisdom, and move forward to achieve their aspirations.
